Introduction:
The Redesigned SAT will focus on the knowledge &
skills that current research shows the most essential for College & Career
readiness and success.
The exam will reflect the best of the class work
& dedication. Coming in Spring 2016.
Key Changes:
Relevant words in context, Command of evidence,
Essay analyzing a source, Focus on Math, Problems grounded in real world
context, Analysis in science and History/Social Studies, Founding documents and
great global conversations and No penalty for wrong answers.
The
Rising Competition in New SAT:
The entire good grade Colleges will consider SAT
scores which help the students to get the best College of their choice.
Many Colleges
Admissions officers expressed skepticism about College Board’s claim that the
new SAT will narrow the gap between rich and poor student’s scores and
eliminate the edge gained through test preparation courses. Nor do they expect
that the new test will hold any less stress for students.
How
to Prepare:
“Love
Books, you will love SAT”. The best way to determine what is
best for you is to take a timed practice and a proper guidance. Its time
consuming, but those hours you sacrifice are a wise investment, experts say
“Ultimately the best way to know for sure is to Practice”, says Kristen Campbell,
director of college prep programs at Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions.
A
proper guidance can always set you to the right path and helps you achieve the
success.
