ELASTIC BRAIN TRAINING

Before the recent discoveries of Neural Stem Cells in the Central Nervous System, the mature brain in adults was considered to have no possibility of further development. The new brain research findings have changed this scenario. Neural Stem Cells in the central nervous system regenerate new neurons[i], allowing development of brain functions and skills, regardless of the maturity of brain. This new knowledge of elasticity and plasticity of brain has translated into techniques for brain skills development throughout life.
The brain has three parts[ii], Forebrain, Midbrain and Hindbrain. Thoughts transform to words in the rear portion of the forebrain. Voluntary motor commands also come from a region in the rear of the forebrain. Knowing all about how the brain works[iii], motivates us to practice the games designed to improve skills, e.g. the capabilities to learn, process and retain knowledge, in cognitive ways.
